I have the original Passport to Service, handbook & 2 keys.

I have had many TR7's over the years, and still own the first TR7 I bought 36 years ago, and still going (V8 powered since 1995 rebuild).

I currently own a TR8 FHC, TR7V8 FHC Rally Car, TR7V8 DHC, TR2, TR4 and some other TR7 FHC.

I have decided that other projects will mean TEF 89R just won't get the work needed to bring it back, so letting someone else take it on.

I've replaced many many parts in my ownership, including all suspension and brakes, complete rear axle (with 3.27 diff for better gearing on 4-speed), electronic ignition, starter, electric fan, sports exhaust, tow bar (I towed a caravan with it), & recent battery

The bad bits: rust/holes on the floor fronts and bulkhead (both sides), holes in the engine bay (pics included), mark on a door, and scrape on nearside rear wheel arch.

The engine runs and is really nice, and sounds good through the sports exhaust. I tried to drive it at the weekend and the clutch is stuck!

p.s. a few years ago I had the outside re-painted and added the gold stripes. It wasn't a restoration and didn't notice any issues at the time. I did sell this car in 2019 after passing an MOT, but it was noticed that the drivers floor had some previous repair and needed looking at in more detail. I stopped the sale and couldn't find anyone at the time to do the work and was offered some storage which would give some time to plan. Covid happened and it didn't see the light of day again until 2025, and other projects have taken over (a mechanical rebuild of a TR8 took all of 2024-2025, and rebuilding a TR7V8 rally car after engine failure in 2024 has taken a lot of time and ongoing).
