I have had this car for 2 years and am now moving on to a TR7 Sprint.
In the time I’ve had it its had New Brakes inc discs & pads flexi hoses all pipes, slave cyl, Handbrake cable, etc.
New Fuel tank & fuel pipes, Rear shocks , Steering rack & track rod ends, Alternator,
and exhust has done about 1000 miles.
The trailing arms have been fitted with Poly bushes. The normal rust & rot you would get behind the seats ie where the trailing arms fit to the car has been removed, new panels fitted on both sides ( not a couple of patches )
The hood is in good condition all windows are clear but there is a small cut next to one of the press studs, there are also a couple of studs on the hood and a couple on the body which require replacing as they are plastic ( not got round to that job yet ).
It could do with a set of new carpets as these are looking tired.
As you can see its fitted with MGF 5 spoke wheels with very good tyres, the lacquer on the wheels is flacking off in places and showning slight corrosion, I think with a good wire brushing and some paint should put that right.
One thing Not working is the heater, ( its been disconected ) the heater matrix has given up the ghost, (there is a secondhand matrix replacement inc in the sale).
In the 2 years I've had the car its never been out in the rain and I don't think the previous owner had it out in the rain either.
