This is a rare chance to acquire what is possibly one of the best original early Speke built TR7 FHD. The car is almost totally original and fitted with 5-speed gearbox, the reason for this is that the car was originally exported to France, (it is however RH drive).
The car has many interesting features that are not seen on other cars of that age, which may suggest that it may have been used as a project vehicle. The OOV registration also suggests that it was a factory car.
I have MOT certificated back to 1989 which verify the mileage as genuine.
I have owned the car since 2001 and have strived to keep the car as original as possible, I have fitted factory alloy wheels that would not have been available in 1976, but have a set of the original wheels. There is no excessive use of chrome and copper under the bonnet. The car is used.
The car was in very good overall condition mechanically and had a sound body when I acquired the it in 2001, I did have new skins put on the doors and the whole car re-sprayed, the body is original and as far as I am aware there are other no replacement panels. The interior is also in very clean original condition.
The car was runner up in the fixed head category at the TR Drivers National Show in 2001.
The car is regularly serviced by a TR specialist, and runs like a dream. Inspection is recommended. The first to see will buy.
